this stage of learning is the beginning stage and has a little or no spoken English. we can begin it with this step. we can teach them by using a familiar words, such as a thing that they use it everyday. some of children are have a difficulty understanding on communicate in English for each other, because they still have a little vocabulary, or a sentence that they understand. children often imitate our words, so we must keep trying to speak English to them, that can make them can be familiar with English language, but we also must use first language too, to make them can keep remembering their first language.
we also can use this strategy too, that is use words "yes" and "no" to answer question. with this strategy, we can see that the children understand or not about our question that we have been given to them. this step is clearly simple, because the children just say "yes", if they think they want something or agree about something, or they will say "no", if they think that they don't want to or disagree about it. this simple step makes children understand about what they have been heard or listened to, and they can understand the meaning of simple sentence that they have been heard. but if they feel confused about what we say, we can command them to say "confused", then we can know whether they are confused or not. we as a person that gives a question for them also must gives a logical question, means that the question is simple and easy to understand by them, they will not feel confused about what we say and make a good communication.
As a conclusion, we can teach our children begin with a simple lesson, do not try to make them feel stress, make them feel happy on their learning. And also we must be a good model to them to make them can be a good too.
